Is there an entry fee for picking blueberries?

There is a $5 eat and pick fee for visitors who wish to enjoy the u-pick experience at our farm. This fee allows you to pick and eat as many blueberries as you like during your visit.

Can I purchase blueberries in bulk?

Absolutely! We offer wholesale ordering for those interested in purchasing blueberries in bulk. Please fill out our wholesale ordering form for more details and pricing.

What are the farm’s operating hours?

Beechmont Farms is open for u-pick blueberry harvesting from 8 AM to 6 PM, Monday through Sunday, during the months of June and July. We recommend arriving early to enjoy the best picking conditions and to avoid the heat of the day.

Legacy Blueberries

The Legacy blueberry is known for its sweet, flavorful berries and is a late-season producer, while the Duke blueberry is an early-ripening variety with a mild, slightly tart flavor, known for its high yields and firm berries. 

  • Ripening Time: Late-season, typically in August. 
  • Flavor: Sweet and flavorful with a good balance of sweetness and tanginess. 
  • Berries: Large and light blue. 
  • Plant Characteristics:
  • Upright bush that keeps its leaves through the winter in milder climates. 
    • Can reach 4-6 feet in height. 
    • Prefers full sun to partial shade and well-drained, acidic soil.

Duke Blueberries
